Benjamin Mintz, Born in13th of Tevet 1953, in Lodz, Poland. He studied at the Gur Hasidim Beit Midrash and was an activist in the “Agudat Israel Youth” movement. He immigrated to Israel in 1915. He began his “cooling off” in Israel as a construction worker in Tel Aviv and later established a small printing house.

Rabbi Benjamin Mintz was in correspondence with Rebbe of the Rayatz During World War II. Even when he was elected to be the representative of the AGI PAI to the Knesset, he continued to consult with Barbie. After the tribe’s chairman, he corresponded with The Rebbe and consulted with him on matters concerning the establishment of Judaism in the Holy Land.
